Fountain Project has been successfully bid

GREAT NEWS

The day we thought would never come is here! Phase 1 of the Fountain Project has been successfully bid! Smock Fansler, the company that built the gateway, was the winning bidder for our project. Construction will start in about 45 days.

Now comes the hard part. Construction will, of course, disrupt the center of our neighborhood for a few months. I will make sure everyone is aware of the schedule once we get all the details.

A BIG THANK YOU to our consultants, Green 3, NineBark, and RW Armstrong, for their dedication to this process, and for everything they have done to make this a reality! They really went above and beyond.

Stay tuned, and be sure to say a permanent goodbye to the fountain, but a temporary goodbye to the Pioneer Family. They are going on vacation to Garfield Park, and will return when we complete Phase 2.
