Rev. Dr. Alvin Love is President of Developing Communities Project (DCP) in Chicago, Illinois. DCP is a faith-based grassroots organization organizing and advocating for social change in the Greater Roseland Community. Developing Communities Project (DCP) exists for the purpose of effective church based grassroots organizing. This project has included work with President Barack Obama. Our mission continues to be the development of indigenous community residents and institutions for the purpose of solving urban neighborhood problems. Rev. Love is pastor of Lilydale First Baptist Church, Chicago, Illinois; he is immediate past President, Baptist General State Convention of Illinois; Chairman, TOPIC Ministry, National Baptist Convention USA, Inc.

*Each participant will receive a signed “Certificate of Completion in Community Organizing Basics”
