CITY SEEKS PUBLIC INPUT FOR SPENDING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STIMULUS FUNDS

INDIANAPOLIS - The City of Indianapolis is seeking input on a plan to use stimulus funds from Community Development Block Grant Recovery Act as required by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. The City will receive $2,575,447 to be used for critical employment and economic development needs.

The plan will be made available in draft form for public comment on May 22, 2009 at the City County Building Suite 2042 of the City-County Building, 200 East Washington Street; or online at Department of Metropolitan Development webpage at http://www.indy.gov/eGov/City/DMD/Community/Pages/home.aspx Comments will be accepted through May 29th.
