The Indianapolis District office of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and La Plaza will be co-sponsoring a Joint Educational Outreach Forum inviting the Hispanic Community. Federal Agencies will send representatives from The Social Security Administration, The Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service.
Issues of interest that will be discussed include: completing Social Security applications involving Hispanic double surname, how to obtain the correct specific immigration documents to complete, and how to obtain the correct Individual Taxpayer Identification numbers. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission will address National Origin Discrimination as well, and how to file charges of discrimination.
The forum will be held at La Plaza on Thursday June 25th from 6:00 P.M. To 8: 00 P.M.
