Help Sarah Throw a Party!!
Greetings, Everyone!
For those whom I don't know yet, I'm Sarah Adams, owner of AV Framing Gallery (1139 Shelby) and chair of the FSMA Events Committee. I put on parties!
The weather is warm and there's fun in the parking lot--must be time to start planning the Fountain Square Art Fair (FSAF), sponsored by the FSMA. This year, as last, it will run in conjunction with Masterpiece in a Day (MIAD), on Saturday, September 27.
This is a fun, well-attended event (the biggest day in FS), which I'm hoping to grow bigger this year with the addition of entertainment! It's also great fun to be in on the planning of this terrific day.

volunteer the day of the event,
help coordinate artists, entertainers, and visitors!**
Our initial planning meeting will be held at AV Framing Gallery on Friday, May 16, 12:00-1:00pm. We will meet only monthly until just before the event. And whatever can be efficiently achieved through email, will be. Please let me know if you are interested in volunteering! If you can't make the meeting, or would like to see a different time/date, let me know that too.

To have the availability in the community to help plan successful events is at the very least heartwarming in that to create a community event, the community must be aware to be involved,, I am thankful for the new blog and all the wealth of information that it holds
