Central Library Strategic Plan Input Requested

Friends,

The Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library is working on its next strategic plan. Because of my role at CICF, I was fortunate enough to be asked to serve on the steering committee for the process. The library wants the feedback of Marion County residents, businesses, nonprofits and others! What can the library do better for our community? What should it prioritize? What can move it from good to great? How can our community better support the library? You can participate in any of these ways:

1. Track progress and leave a comment at the bottom of I-MCPLs strategic plan Web site: http://imcpl.org/strategicplan/?p=6

2. Attend one of the public meetings designed to listen to your ideas:

May 5, 7:00 pm, Nora Branch Library, 8625 N. Guilford

May 6, 7:00 pm, Central Library – Riley Meeting Room , 40 E. St. Clair

May 21, 7:00 pm, Southport Branch Library, 2630 E. Stop 11 Road

3. Attend any of the steering committees meetings to watch the committee at work, posted as theyre scheduled at: http://imcpl.org/strategicplan/

Spread the word,

Tony Macklin
