Volunteer Opportunity

ATTENTION: CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS!!

PLEASANT RUN CLEANUP
***

Come join friends and neighbors of the Southeast side for a morning of satisfying work and fun as we help clean up the Pleasant Run Greenway. As part of the 20th annual White River Cleanup which takes place downtown, this year special crews and residents alike will be working to help keep one of our most valuable neighborhood resources clean. This is the first cleanup of the year and arguably the most important due to all of the trash that has accumulated over the winter months. Online pre-registration is required in order to ensure that we get enough T-shirts and lunches for our crew. If you are interested in pitching in, please follow the directions below.

1. Register online by March 31st at www.greenwaysfoundation.org or www.friendsofthewhiteriver.org

AND

2. Contact David Edmonds to signup for the Southeast cleanup crew
david@sendcdc.org or call 634-5079 x.28
Pleasant Run volunteers are asked to meet at the corner of Pleasant Run Parkway and Prospect St. at 8:30 AM on Saturday, April 5th. The cleanup will last until approximately 11:30, when free lunch will be provided. Please dress for outdoor work. Gloves, tools and trash bags will be provided. Also, feel free to pass this on. The more volunteers the better!!!
