Individuals ages 6 - adult are invited to decorate pre-made, molded skulls with icing, metallic foils, buttons and feathers to celebrate Day of the Dead, which combines Mexican and Central American ancient rituals with Christian beliefs to honor the dead and celebrate the continuity of life. This program is co-sponsored by the Arts Council of Indianapolis, the Indianapolis Art Center and the Indiana Arts Commission.
