The Mission of Drive-by Prayer Vigil

Drive-by Prayer Vigil is a citywide response of prayer to the senseless violence that is claiming the lives of both the young and old throughout our communities. Although birthed from a local city's crisis, it has plans to spread nationwide. No city or town is exempt from this rising epidemic, however, every city and town holds the solution: the power of prayer. II Chronicles 7:14 tells us how to respond to evil in the land: "if my people who are called by my name, would humble themselves and pray -- I will heal their land." One united voice for one shared problem! Our adopted slogan, "If drive-by guns can kill, then drive-by prayers can heal" sums up our mission and purpose.
