Many of you may have heard of the “Mayor’s Night Out” program…and we are next to host Mayor Ballard and share with him our success stories and our concerns.

We will hold the October 27th Mayor’s Night Out event at the Garfield Park Art Center, which is located at 2432 Conservatory Drive. If you enter Garfield Park off Shelby Street, the road will "T" just past the Gardens. You will want to take the left and then the right into the shared parking lot for the McAllister Amphitheater and the Art Center. We will have signs to help guide you, as well.

The event will begin with a bus tour of our area for senior city officials and invited community leaders.

After the bus tour, there will be a Meet & Greet for civic leaders with Mayor Ballard followed by a question and answer session for Mayor Ballard and his Senior Staff. The question and answer session is open to the public and will begin at 6:00 pm. It is at this point that the public will have the opportunity to write down any questions they may have for the Mayor and his staff.

I look forward to “hosting” this event and working with many of you individually to make sure it is as successful as possible.
