Eligibility and Requirement Changes for IMAGINE Announced
As of September 3, 2008, the GINI Engagement Working Group has made changes to the Eligibility and Requirements for IMAGINE. For the first time in the history of IMAGINE, neighborhoods within the 6 GINI Demonstration areas are eligible to apply for and receive IMAGINE funding, provided those organizations meet all other IMAGINE eligibility criteria. Also, all interested IMAGINE applicants are required to attend a Technical Assistance Session before submitting an IMAGINE Application. During the TA sessions, interested applicants will have an opportunity to learn more about the IMAGINE application process, connect with other applicants to brainstorm ideas, and hear from past IMAGINE recipients about their successes. The next TA sessions will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 on October 20th and November 17th. Both sessions will be at the Indianapolis Neighborhood Resource Center’s offices at 1802 N. Illinois Street.
This is the IMAGINE Grant pool that has over $60,000 available to any neighborhood group in Indy. You all were not allowed to apply for this until this vote in September. Please make your neighbors aware of this NEW grant available to them and make sure that they understand that in order for them to be eligible for it they must attend a TA session.
