Douglas Hairston, Director of the Front Porch Alliance, has suggested registering for storm assistance through the website at DAVVIS or by calling 1-866-679-4631 where:

No cost volunteer resources are available to help cut up tree debris and move it to the curb this week. DPW will remove tree debris cut into pieces not larger than 4 feet long and place along the curb until Friday, June 13. You will need to indicate how many trees, approximate sizes, and whether the tree is on or against a building or not. Once registered, you will be contacted to determine a time for the volunteers to be in your area. An adult must be home while the teams are working on your property.
