Conservation Area Plan

Public invited to attend Cottage Home workshop

The Cottage Home Conservation District Steering Committee and the Indianapolis Historic Preservation Commission (IHPC) will host a Public Workshop on Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to Noon at the Woodruff Place Town Hall., 735 Woodruff Place East Drive.

Topics of the public workshop include:
* What does being a conservation district mean to me?
* Presentation of the draft Cottage Home Conservation Area Plan, including rehabilitation guidelines

Refreshments will be served at 9:30 a.m.

Conservation districts are established by action of the IHPC and the Metropolitan Development Commission. A conservation district designation provides limited regulation to protect and enhance the overall character of the community.
