2nd Annual Exhibit of The National Arts Program
To City of Indianapolis employees and retirees, members of their families and volunteers for the City of Indianapolis:
You are invited to participate in the 2nd Annual Exhibit of The National Arts Program in Indianapolis!
The National Arts Program is designed to give artists of all skill levels an opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional manner and to compete for cash prizes. Judged by professional artists and visual art professionals in Amateur, Intermediate, Professional and Youth categories, the program is free to all entrants. Don’t miss this chance to be recognized for your creativity and be proud of your art!
Registration is required. The deadline for registration is 5 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2009. Please visit www.indyparks.org or www.nationalartsprogram.org to download the official registration form. Registration forms can be delivered to the Garfield Park Arts Center, 2432 Conservatory Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46203, or faxed to (317) 327-7064.
This year’s exhibition of The National Arts Program will be on display at the Garfield Park Arts Center from June 6 through July 5. The awards ceremony and opening reception will be 5 to 8 p.m. June 6, 2009. Cash prizes will be awarded to first-, second- and third-place winners in all categories, as well as Best of Show.
The program is sponsored by The National Arts Program Foundation in support of and in cooperation with Indy Parks & Recreation, the Garfield Park Arts Center and the Friends of Garfield Park, Inc. The competition is open to City of Indianapolis employees and retirees, members of their families and volunteers for the City of Indianapolis.
