Transportation Job Fair is March 14

The IPS Transportation Department will host a job fair Sat., March 14, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Service Center for IPS (SCIPS), 935 N. Carrollton Ave. Enter the door marked Transportation Department; fair is on the second floor.

The department is particularly interested in hiring bus drivers and bus attendants. During the fair, visitors will have the opportunity to:

* Have in-depth conversation regarding each position
* View each type of bus within the fleet
* Tour the bus simulation training room
* Process an on-line application.

Keep Indianapolis Beautiful Youth Tree Team

Keep Indianapolis Beautiful (KIB) will hold a two-hour Challenge Day for all high school students interested in joining the summer Youth Tree Team. The team works to preserve and maintain trees planted through the NeighorWoods Program. The Youth Tree Team also trains at an adventure course, takes a wilderness camping trip, receives job skill training, learns financial management skills, and rafts on the White River. The Indianapolis premier of the show, directed by Bob Rini, opens March 6th at 7:30 pm and runs March 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 20 21 and 22. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 pm and Sunday matinees begin at 2 pm. All performances are at the University of Indianapolis Community Theater located at 1035 Sanders Street in the Fountain Square Arts area of Indianapolis. Play Synopsis: Dastardly spy Drat Bullbreath is sending secret messages to his equally dastardly assistant, beautiful and dangerous Anne G. Jolie by means of letters to the advice-for-the-lovelorn column in the local newspaper, the Indianapolis Southeast Circle News. Ace spy catcher Morse Code is hot on the trail of the spy ring. Indy Jones, crack reporter and part time advice column editor, notices something unusual about the letters she is receiving. She confides her suspicions to her co-worker and closest friend, Debby Deadline. They discover secret documents that place them both in grave danger! Can Morse save them and the entire nation from the evil spies?
