Opportunity for 1st Time Homebuyers

Habitat for Humanity has a Home Available

Hi Neighborhood Leaders!

SEND is partnering with Habitat for Humanity to build 4 new homes in the SEND area this year. Habitat currently has families for three of the homes, but they are looking for one more family and would really like it if they could find a family from the southeast for that home. The home that needs a family will be located on Harlan Street and they are planning on starting construction this month and will have it complete by the end of May. If you know anyone that may qualify for a home, please have them contact Jennifer Coffey at Habitat for Humanity. Jennifer’s contact information is 921-2121 x 122 or jcoffey@indyhabitat.org. I have also attached a flier that lists the information sessions they will be holding this month and provides the minimum qualifications to purchase a Habitat home.

This will not be the last partnership that SEND does with Habitat, so please continue to refer potential homebuyers to both SEND and to Habitat. We really want to be able to provide homeownership opportunities to families that already live in the neighborhood. Please feel free to pass this information along to anyone you think might be interested in a home, or might know someone that would be interested in a home.

Thank you for all of your hard work for the neighborhood!
