To all who are interested in community health care discussions, you might want to send a person or two from your association to attend this meeting. Details are below.

If you are not able to make this meeting but are interested in hearing more, please let me know and I will make contact with them and see if they can have someone meet with your group after the first of the year.

Take care and have a great day,

A Town Hall on
Health Care Reform

Please join Community Health Network as we host a town hall on health care reform Tuesday, December 30, 3 to 5 p.m. at Community Hospital East. This event answers the call for community health care discussions by the Obama-Biden Transition Team that can help shape America’s health policies

Community Health Network’s panel invites you to join the conversation and discuss concerns about the current health care system and ideas for how to improve or fix the system. Community Health Network leaders participating in the event include: Bill Corley, president and CEO; Anita Harden, president emeritus of Community Hospital East; Dan Hodgkins, vice president of health promotion and community redevelopment; Dr. Clif Knight, vice president of medical affairs for Community hospitals East and North; and Jan Bingle, chief nursing officer for Community Health Network.

Join Community as we take part in the nationwide call by the Obama-Biden Transition Team for a meaningful community discussion on health care policy over the holidays, in an attempt to reach out to the American people and involve them in shaping future policies. The Health Care Community Discussions will be organized through the Transition’s Web page, change.gov. Community Health Network’s leadership will share their vision for the future of health care during the town hall meeting, which will be video streamed live at eCommunity.com.
