IMA Tobias Theater

Visit "The Toby"

Friends:

You are invited to the Indianapolis Museum of Art’s newly renovated Tobias Theater.

This space used to be the site of Civic Theater performances. You may not recognize it after its handsome makeover. Much effort has been spent (by myself and others) to try to make it a fresh new space for film, speakers and out-of-the-box performances. We imagine it as “Indy’s living room.” Browsing the schedule , I hope you’ll find programs that interest you.

When you visit, you will experience a cozy space, designed using eco-friendly materials, complete with huge red bean bags (when films are shown), a balcony to escape to, and big fat brownies for sale—what could be better.

I hope to see you sometime soon at “The Toby”!

Fondly,
