Let's Take a Trip to the Pumpkin Patch
When: Thursday October 23, 2008
Where: Waterman’s Farm
Time: 5:30pm
Cost: $3 for children (adults accompanying the children are free)
Meeting Spot: Pride Family Center 1129 S. Vandeman St. at 5pm
What is included with the $3 admission?
*A hayride to the pumpkin patch where child selects one small pumpkin to take home.
*Enjoying Tyranny, our pumpkin-eating dinosaur, who roars as she chomps on a pumpkin and explains the nutritional value of pumpkins
*Opportunity to climb on our giant straw pile
*Chance to crawl through our straw bale maze which is dark and has dead ends in it.
*Chance to walk through any or all of our 3 cornfield mazes
---The first maze is designed with preschoolers in mind as it involves simply following a trail
---The second maze is more difficult as it involves making decisions about whether to go to the left or right or forward or backward
---The third maze involves the same decision-making but it is longer and more complicated than the second one
Make a scarecrow to take with you for $10.00
