Auditions for "Fright in the Night"

COMEDY STAGE PLAY AUDITIONS ANNOUNCED

Auditions for the Stage Actors’ Workshop production of “Fright in the Night” written by D. Chappell will be held Sunday, August 10, at 3 pm and Wednesday, August 13, and Thursday, August 14, at 7 pm. Auditions for the family-friendly stage comedy play will be held at the Freemason Hall Theater, 525 N. Illinois Street, Indianapolis, 46204. The Halloween-appropriate show requires seven adult actors; four men and three women. Actors will read from the script. Some staff positions are also available. Play Synopsis: Spunky Heroine Nancy Nightingale is out to prove herself in the world. Her plan is to take her deceased gangster uncle's abandoned roadhouse and turn it into a successful and family friendly establishment. Handsome real estate agent Chick Smith is there to help Nancy as much as he can while winning her heart. Will Chick and his bumbling assistant Wilbur be able to save Nancy from the clutches of her uncle's evil henchman Nick Nightshade? And what about the hidden treasure? Will somebody get rich, or will somebody get a ... Fright In The Night?

The Stage Actors' Workshop is a not-for-profit community theater acting company comprised of talented people who do theater for the love of it. Their mission is to bring to the public live family-friendly stage shows that are entertaining and educational at a cost that will not break the family budget. Admission for adults is $10, children $4. Bob Rini has served as the company’s artistic director since its inception in 1998. They offer affordable acting classes for adults and children.
