Durang-O-Rama!
5 One-Acts by Christopher Durang
January 30 - February 14
IndyFringe Building, 719 E. St. Clair St.
There's nothing like a couple of hours with Sigourney Weaver's favorite playwright to lift you out of the gray of late January. These "hilarious and gleefully disturbing" works include an affectionate parody of the high-school-standard The Glass Menagerie (For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls) and a bizarre sexual romp on the ill-fated ship Titanic. The other plays include Phyllis & Xenobia, The Book of Leviticus Show and Funeral Parlor (originally written for Carol Burnett and Robin Williams).
The cast that brings these fast-paced comedies alive includes Indianapolis favorites Bill Simmons (recently seen in Terrence McNally's Some Men at the Phoenix), Diane Kondrat (most recently seen in Indiana Repertory Theatre's Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure, Scot Greenwell (recently seen in Indianapolis Civic Theatre's The Little Shop of Horrors) and Jon Lindley (Some Men), with new-comers Matt Goodrich and Anna Ardizzone.

Inaugural Celebration at the Earth House
Join The Earth House Collective at 237 N. East St. for an historic celebration and restoration fundraiser on January 20 from 6:45 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. featuring live music, keynote speakers, green vendors and grassroots organizations bringing real change to Indianapolis.
This all-ages event celebrates the future we are building together and features a full musical lineup including Sarah Grain, TJ Reynolds, Kate Lamont, and the Grogan Violin Duet. The (Re)Collective Company, producer of IndyFringe number 2 selling show Moved, will premier part of a new work that fuses dance, sound and rhythm into a new element. Plus be inspired by the speakers who will take the mic between sets.
The suggested donation of $10.00 will directly benefit the restoration of the historic site.

Funds are still needed to complete renovations, refinish the floor and paint the interior and exterior of the building. Although the space is a work in progress, it is in great demand from emerging and established theatre companies and visiting performers. Expect to see a wide range of shows and performances in the building between now and May. Keep checking the website www.indyfringe.org
Our thanks to Allen Whitehill Clowes Charitable Foundation Inc for their generous support of the major building restoration work.
