After a short December break, the prayer vigils are back on the road again.
The Prayer Vigil drive-by motorcade will resume its' normal schedule of praying with victim families and praying for peace in the streets beginning this Saturday, January 17th. The first series of vigils for 2009 will kickoff with 14 victims, many of whom died in December. Due to the number of victims and the current weather conditions, three of the four prayer sites will be held inside churches around the city.
