Cultivating Healthy Organizational Practices

As a part of its Corporate & Community Programs focused on cultivating healthy organizational practices, Peace Learning Center (PLC) offers its Tuesdays at PLC series every second Tuesday of the month (Sept-May) from 8:30-10:00am. These sessions are a great networking and learning resource for those interested in cultivating healthy organizational practices within the workplace and community. Sessions are held at Peace Learning Center at Eagle Creek Park. There is a $5 fee to cover the cost of refreshments. You must pre-register to attend.

Topic for Tuesday, December 9: "Addressing Conflict in Healthy Ways"

Session Description: This session focuses on the concepts and tools of effective communication strategies. Participants will learn and practice techniques such as asking for and expressing oneself with clarity, setting healthy boundaries and learn how body language and tone of voice help or hinder communication with others. These skills are easily learned and immediately applicable to real life situations.

The Presenter: Tahnea Jafari is a facilitator and consultant who specializes in the personal and professional development of individuals. With 10 years of experience, Tahnea works in depth with clients to address and resolve deep challenges that may be holding back the growth of the individual or organization.
