DMD releases 2009 action plan for federal funds
The Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development (DMD) has announced how it will allocate $14 million from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to local programs in 2009. The plan was approved last week by the City-County Council. The Action Plan includes funding from four major HUD programs: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME), Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA).
