This month’s business and arts speaker will be Jennifer Kaye Laughner.Jennifer has been involved in the local arts community for many yearsas an artist, curator, gallery owner, and chef. An avid supporter of the local talent that exists in Indianapolis and Indiana, Jennifer continues her mission with the opening of her third location, Laughner Modern Art. Jennifer has also contributed her many talents to the newly opened Earth House Collective, located in the Lockerbie Central UMC.

As a member of the Earth House Collective, Jennifer Kaye Laughner owns and operates Laughner Modern Art and Jenxie’s Moodi Café. Jenxie’s Moodi Café is focused on fresh from-scratch food selections that capitalize on local, organic produce whenever possible, offering a healthy eating approach with spices, seasonings, and a passion for flavor.Both meat and vegetarian/ vegan options will be offered for our luncheon.

Jenxie’s Moodi Café selections offer a sandwich, wrap, or soup with two sides and drink for $7.50.

During lunch Jennifer Kaye Laughner will be speaking about her new ventures and discussing ways the community can better support the arts.

The Gathering is held at Southeast Community Services, 901 S. Shelby on September 25, 2008.

Registration starts at 5:00.

Dinner and the program will begin at 5:30.

The event is planned to conclude at 8:45.
