Announcement of Projects funded by $29 million NSP Funds
Mayor Greg Ballard will join community leaders to announce the city's partners in implementing projects funded by $29 million dollars in Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) Funds (NSP).
The Office of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded the funds late last year, after which the City's Redevelopment Planning Council engaged in an extensive evaluation process to determine how and where the dollars should be focused to have the greatest impact on Indianapolis neighborhoods. More than 50 responses to a Request For Qualifications (RFQ) were received, each seeking the ability to partner with the City in this endeavor.
