Indiana Black History Challenge
The East Washington Library continues to offer regular programs for children, but the special program for the month of February, is the Black History Challenge. Children and families are invited to learn about Indiana’s rich African-American history by participating in the Indiana Black History Challenge. Since 2001, the Indiana Historical Society has partnered with the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library to create a contest which encourages the investigation of Indiana’s black history.
The challenge may be taken at any library branch or online at the library web site www.imcpl.org
