Dept of Minority and Women Business Development roundtable discussion with IndyGo

The Department of Minority and Women Business Development will host a roundtable discussion Friday on ways to explore business opportunities stemming from $9 million in stimulus funds available for contracting through IndyGo. These opportunities are a direct result of IndyGo's announcement last week that they will receive $9 million in stimulus funds to be used to repair and replace major facility infrastructure systems.

Maximizing Minority & Women Business Opportunities

The State of Indiana Minority and Women Business Enterprises Division and the City of Indianapolis Department of Minority and Women Business Development will be hosting a joint workshop that will deal specifically with issues surrounding subcontracting negotiations with prime contractors. The purpose of this training event is to provide a venue where sub-contractors will receive first hand information from prime contractors, certified minority and/or women business vendors, and legal counsels who have experience in contract negotiations and can offer tips to help guide small businesses into successful subcontracting negotiations.
