FREE EVENT
Sunday, August 23, 12-1:30 p.m.
Outside the IndyFringe Building, 719 E. St. Clair St. (Rain location inside)
Competitive Picnicking took New York City and Australia festivals by storm and now comes to Indy. Picnic goers trade food and drinks to assemble the tastiest, highest-scoring lunch. Bring your lunch, but be ready to share!
Then while you nibble, enjoy Fringey, family-friendly performers and exciting street buskers. Plus, Juggle Time Fun Co. will demonstrate how to use juggle sticks and Indy Hoppers will instruct hula hoop dancing, so everyone can join the fun!
What to bring: Each family should bring one beverage, side item, sandwich and dessert per person. (For example: A coke, ham sandwich, chips, and a Twinkie - but feel free to get creative!) There will be four rounds of swapping and at the end the picnic masters will judge who has the best lunch - winners will get fun Fringe prizes! Don't forget a picnic blanket or lawn chairs.
