Green on the Ground: Thursday, July 9, 6:00-8:30pm
"Green" is a "way" of living. This session describes this "way" through the story of a two year effort to move Broad Ripple toward a more "Sustainable" community. It is an account of the ideas, initiatives, obstacles, and accomplishments in the application of "Green" theory to the practical reality of community life. Although each neighborhood is unique many of the challenges in going "Green" are common. Why is it necessary? What are the benefits? How long will take? Join the discussion, share your ideas, and learn how Green Broad Ripple is working to answer these questions.
