25-FT ANUBIS STATUE ARRIVES AT THE CANAL TO PAVE THE WAY THE JUNE OPENING OF KING TUT EXHIBITION AT CHILDREN'S MUSEUM

INDIANAPOLIS - The jackal-headed god Anubis, believed to be the guide and protector of the dead in ancient Egypt, will be installed on the Canal to pave the way for King Tut's treasures.
The five-ton, 25-foot tall statue will be installed in the area on West 11th Street.

Final preparations are underway at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis for the exhibition "Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs," which opens on June 27. Anyone who joins Anubis' Facebook fan page prior to June 27 will receive a discount code for tickets to the exhibition at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis.

Anubis has served as the protector of King Tut's treasures in Dallas, Atlanta, Vienna and London.
