Beginner Exercise classes for Seniors

Beginner Exercise classes for Seniors
Fountain Square Center, second floor, 901 S. Shelby St.

Beginning Monday, January 12th at 1-2pm.
Every Monday for 6 weeks.
Cost is $12 for six week session.

Join us for a low-impact aerobic class with toning, balance and stretching. Class can be done in a chair or standing, whatever your level allows. Certified instructor.

Senior Center Activities for November

At the Senior Center, they start the morning with 9:00AM Cards, Pool, and Social Time. This is often followed by "The Price is Right" or wellness activities followed by "Sit and Stretch" and other wellness activities.

November Special Activities:

• November 7, 10:00AM to 2:00PM Holiday Arts and Crafts Sale.
• Thanksgiving Luncheon will be on November 14, 11:00AM, $5.00
• November 21, 10:00AM Casino Shelbyville/Lunch $3.50

November 27 and 28, the center will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday

OASIS Classes at Fountain Square

Fall Health & Wellness Classes

OASIS at Fountain Square will be offering health and wellness classes for the fall trimester beginning September 15th.

OASIS, a non-profit educational organization designed to enhance the quality of life for mature adults, is locally sponsored by Clarian Health.

Classes to be offered at the Fountain Square Center, 901 S. Shelby St., include:

Mondays, 1:00 -2:00pm, Beginning Exercise, instructed by Susie DeMunbrun.

Tuesdays, 10:15am -11:00am, Gentle Chair Yoga, instructed by Kelly Rader.

Wednesdays, 1:00 -2:00pm, Exer-Start, instructed by Carole Peffley.

Wednesday, October 1, 2:15pm -3:15pm, Handling Arthritis Joint Pain, Dr. David Batt.

Monday, December 8, 11:00am – 12:00pm, Healthy Cooking for the Holidays, Laura McCammack.

Registration for classes will be at the Fountain Square Center, third floor, on Tuesday, September 9th from 1:00pm -3:00pm.
